January 8, 2025: Chatham, NY 12037 Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY), 52-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ichabod Crane advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Riders host Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY) to face the Blackbirds in a Section 2 Colonial match on Friday, January 10. The Blackbirds enter the match with a record of 2-2. Voorheesville won 78-34 in their recent league match against Cohoes (Cohoes, NY)
The Panthers now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catskill for a Section 2 Patroon match on Friday, January 10. Chatham will face a Cats squad coming off a 51-48 league win over Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY). The Cats record now stands at 9-0.
