Michigan High School Basketball - Lincoln sneaks past River Rouge
January 8, 2025: Ypsilanti, MI 48197 The Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) basketball edged the visiting River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI), 46-39 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Railsplitters now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Huron for a Southeastern - Red bout on Friday, January 10. Lincoln will play a River Rats team coming off a 32-30 non-league loss to Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI). The River Rats record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, River Rouge falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hamtramck (Hamtramck, MI) to play the Cosmos in a Michigan Metro bout on Friday, January 10. The Cosmos go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Hamtramck won 61-18 in their recent non-league bout against American International Academy (Inkster, MI)
