Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - West Haven knocks off Westhill
January 8, 2025: Stamford, CT 06902 The West Haven Blue Devils ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the host Westhill Vikings to 2 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Haven for a Southern Connecticut - DII bout on Saturday, January 11. West Haven will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Westhill moves to 3-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to play the Blue Wave in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Blue Wave go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Darien lost 4-2 in their recent league bout against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT)
