California High School Basketball - Edison sneaks past Pittsburg
January 8, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206 The Edison Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 58 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Edison will play a Lions team coming off a 64-59 non-league win over Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA). The Lions record now stands at 15-0.
With the loss, Pittsburg falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Freedom (Oakley, CA) to play the Falcons in a game on Friday, January 10. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 4-10. Freedom lost 61-46 in their recent league game against Liberty (Brentwood, CA)
