January 8, 2025: Glendale, AZ 85302 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), saw Apollo's soccer squad knock off Red Mountain by a count of 4-2.
The Hawks (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Falcons enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Carl Hayden Community tipped Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Skyline Coyotes (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley battle, on Wednesday, January 15. Red Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Coyotes enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ).
