Louisiana High School Soccer - Comeaux toppled by Ascension Episcopal
January 8, 2025: Lafayette, LA 70501 Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Ascension Episcopal advances its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The travel to Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA) to clash with the Panthers in a Division IV District 3 test on Friday, January 10. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Catholic - N.I. lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA)
The Spartans now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host New Iberia for a test on Thursday, January 9. Comeaux will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 4-1 league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-12.
