Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) boosters exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Highland moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league outing on Friday, January 10.
