Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA), 61-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Buhach Colony upgrades its record to 14-4 on the year. The Thunder host Golden Valley (Merced, CA) to face the Cougars in a Central California Conference match on Wednesday, January 14. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 11-6. Golden Valley won 68-37 in their recent non-league contest against Galt (Galt, CA)

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA) in a Trans Valley League contest, on Friday, January 9. Hughson will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 7-8 record after their 69-56 league win over Hilmar (Hilmar, CA).
