The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE) and the visiting Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), observed Sterling's basketball team overwhelm Dorchester by a score of 58-25.

The Jets (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE). The Titans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was routed by Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE), 56-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns battle the Palmer Tigers (Palmer, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 10. Dorchester will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 48-44 non-league win over Elba (Elba, NE).
