Maine High School Basketball - Buckfield overwhelms Telstar
January 9, 2023: Bethel, ME 04217 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), saw Buckfield's basketball squad wallop Telstar by a count of 64-38.
With the victory, Buckfield upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bucks host Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a C South challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Hall-Dale won 64-25 in their recent league challenge against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME)
Next up, the Rebels play the Boothbay Seahawks (Boothbay Harbor, ME) in a C South challenge, on Monday, January 16. Telstar will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 69-20 league win over Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME).
