January 9, 2023: Monona, IA 52159 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) and the host MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA), saw Decorah-North Winneshiek's basketball squad overcome MFL MarMac by a tally of 64-50.
With the victory, Decorah-North Winneshiek improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Charles City (Charles City, IA) to confront the Comets in a Northeast Iowa challenge on Friday, January 13. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 7-6.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA) in a Upper Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. MFL MarMac will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Kee Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 62-58 non-league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA).
