Massachusetts High School Basketball - Grafton fells Southbridge
January 9, 2023: Southbridge, MA 01550 Grafton Gators (Grafton, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southbridge Pioneers (Southbridge, MA), 61-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Oxford (Oxford, MA) to play the Pirates in a South Worcester County - A bout on Friday, January 13. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Oxford won 63-55 in their recent league bout against Auburn (Auburn, MA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Southbridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 64-38 league win over Auburn (Auburn, MA).
