January 9, 2023: Waterbury, CT 06704 Wilby Wildcats (Waterbury, CT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kaynor Tech Panthers (Waterbury, CT), 81-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wilby upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Kennedy (Waterbury, CT) to play the Eagles in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Kennedy won 71-46 in their recent non-league bout against Platt RVT (Milford, CT)
Next up, the Panthers play the Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Kaynor Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Mighty Tigers come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 89-69 league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
