Ohio High School Basketball - Lake overwhelms Northwood
January 9, 2023: Millbury, OH 43447 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) and the visiting Northwood Rangers (Northwood, OH), saw Lake's basketball squad wallop Northwood by a count of 49-24.
With the victory, Lake upgrades its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH) to play the Royals in a Northern Buckeye challenge on Friday, January 13. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Elmwood lost 41-31 in their recent league challenge against Eastwood (Pemberville, OH)
Next up, the Rangers play the Toledo Christian Eagles (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo Area challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Northwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 58-46 league loss to Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH).
