Iowa High School Basketball - Mid-Prairie holds off Williamsburg
January 9, 2023: Williamsburg, IA 52361 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) and the host Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA), saw Mid-Prairie's basketball squad hold off Williamsburg by a tally of 52-45.
With the victory, Mid-Prairie improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Golden Hawks host Regina (Iowa City, IA) to confront the Regals in a River Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Regals come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Regina won 65-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Lisbon (Lisbon, IA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the West Delaware Hawks (Manchester, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Williamsburg will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 71-46 non-league loss to Wahlert (Dubuque, IA).
