Nevada High School Basketball - The Meadows School tops Silverado

January 9, 2023: Las Vegas, NV 89128

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), saw The Meadows School's basketball squad knock off Silverado by a tally of 72-64.

With the victory, The Meadows School improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Laughlin (Laughlin, NV) to play the Cougars in a 2A Southern challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Laughlin won 44-38 in their recent league challenge against White Pine (Ely, NV)

Next up, the Skyhawks play the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Silverado will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 76-41 non-league loss to Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV).
