High School Basketball - Freshman Opponent can't hold off Unionville
January 9, 2023: , The Unionville Longhorns basketball team scored 28 points and restricted the host Freshman Opponent to 21 in the Longhorns league victory on Monday.
The Longhorns now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coatesville for a contest on Tuesday, January 10. Unionville will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 38-32 league loss to Henderson (West Chester, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-2.
The (30-56) will now prepare for their contest against Winter Haven Christian (Winter Haven, FL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Winter Haven Christian edged Freshman Opponent (, ), 21-8, in a non-league contest.
