New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants nips Hope Christian
January 9, 2023: Grants, NM 87020 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) and the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), saw Grants's basketball squad hold off Hope Christian by a tally of 56-53.
With the victory, Grants improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Gallup (Gallup, NM) to play the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Gallup won 47-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM)
Next up, the Huskies play the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
