The Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO), 61-22 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bears (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Gators go into the 5A/4A Jeffco test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Standley Lake walloped Kennedy (Denver, CO), 58-18, in a non-league test.

The Olympians now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Aurora Central for a 5A/4A Colorado test on Thursday, January 12. Gateway will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 55-41 league loss to Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.
