Louisiana High School Basketball - Castor overwhelmed by Hornbeck
January 9, 2023: Hornbeck, LA 71439 The Hornbeck Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Castor Tigers to 45 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.
The Hornets now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Hill for a C District 3 contest on Friday, January 13. Hornbeck will battle a Eagles team coming off a 73-72 league loss to Simpson (Simpson, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-9.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Choudrant (Choudrant, LA). The Aggies come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Choudrant was routed by Doyline (Doyline, LA), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
