Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menominee knocked off by Coleman
January 9, 2023: Coleman, WI 54112 The Coleman Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Menominee Maroons to 49 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lena for a Marinette & Oconto contest on Friday, January 13. Coleman will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 40-34 league win over Niagara (Niagara, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
The Maroons (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Wykons enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, West Iron County was outscored by Negaunee (Negaunee, MI), 43-33, in a league contest.
