The Hillsboro Hawks basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Potosi Trojans to 47 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Festus for a Jefferson County - Large contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pacific (Pacific, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Pacific nudged Belle (Belle, MO), 33-28, in a non-league contest.
