January 9, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) and the visiting Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Fort Madison, IA), saw Mt. Pleasant's basketball squad overcome Holy Trinity Catholic by a tally of 34-26.
With the victory, Mt. Pleasant improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, IA) to confront the Trojans in a Southeast challenge on Friday, January 13. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Fairfield lost 62-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Danville Bears (Danville, IA) in a SEI - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Holy Trinity Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record.
