Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA), 48-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Knoxville upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cardinal (Eldon, IA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Cardinal lost 69-26 in their recent non-league bout against Clarke (Osceola, IA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Pella Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
