Ohio High School Basketball - West Geauga overwhelmed by Magnificat
January 9, 2023: Rocky River, OH 44116 The West Geauga Wolverines basketball team (Chesterland, OH), was overwhelmed 71-28 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Magnificat Blue Streaks (Rocky River, OH)
The Blue Streaks now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Magnificat will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 62-30 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 9-3.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Orange (Pepper Pike, OH). The Lions come into the Chagrin Valley - Chagrin battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Orange trounced Geneva (Geneva, OH), 37-32, in a non-league battle.
