January 9, 2023: Pana, IL 62557 The Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Neoga Indians (Neoga, IL), 58-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL). The Cavaliers go into the South Central test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Carlinville notched a victory over North Mac (Virden, IL), 44-34, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 19-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Anthony for a National Trail test on Thursday, January 12. Neoga will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-56 non-league win over Flora (Flora, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-4.
