Illinois High School Basketball - Normal West falls to Springfield
January 9, 2023: Normal, IL 61761 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Springfield Senators basketball team scored a good 54-43 triumph over the Normal West Wildcats.
In their next game, the Senators meet the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) in a Central State Eight match, on Tuesday, January 10. Springfield will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 7-10 record after their 42-29 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).
With the defeat, Normal West moves to 6-13 on the year. The Wildcats host Centennial (Champaign, IL) to meet the Chargers in a Big Twelve match on Thursday, January 12. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-5.
