January 9, 2023: Churdan, IA 50050 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) and the host Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), saw Northwest Webster's basketball squad wallop Paton-Churdan by a tally of 68-24.
With the victory, Northwest Webster improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to confront the E'Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The E'Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Rockets confront the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Paton-Churdan will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 53-49 league loss to Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA).
