The Triad Cardinals ran past the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team by a final score of 36-18 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Greeneview Rams (Jamestown, OH) in a Ohio Heritage game, on Wednesday, January 11. Triad will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 60-34 league loss to Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH).

With the defeat, Ridgemont moves to 0-10 on the year. The Golden gophers host Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to face the Tigers in a Northwest Central game on Thursday, January 12. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 5-6. Waynesfield-Goshen won 52-43 in their recent non-league game against Riverside (De Graff, OH)
