California High School Basketball - Center overwhelms San Juan
January 9, 2023: Citrus Heights, CA 95610 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) and the host San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA), saw Center's basketball squad wallop San Juan by a tally of 51-21.
With the victory, Center improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Sutter (Sutter, CA) to play the Huskies in a challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Sutter won 35-19 in their recent league challenge against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA)
Coming up next, the Spartans confront the Highlands Scots (North Highlands, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, January 10. San Juan will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Scots come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 81-18 non-league loss to Pioneer (Woodland, CA).
