New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants trounces Hope Christian
January 9, 2023: Grants, NM 87020 The Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), 63-30 in Monday's non-league test.
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Gallup walloped Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 56-37, in a non-league test.
The Huskies now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Evangel Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Hope Christian will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 66-23 non-league win over Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
