Texas High School Basketball - San Diego fells Aransas Pass
January 9, 2024: San Diego, TX 78384 San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX), 70-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, San Diego upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Vaqueros travel to Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX) to play the Fightin' Jerseys in a 3A Region IV District 30 bout on Friday, January 12. The Fightin' Jerseys go into the bout with a record of 22-2. Falfurrias won 52-43 in their recent non-league bout against Odem (Odem, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, January 12. Aransas Pass will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 54-27 non-league win over Karnes City (Karnes City, TX).
