Ohio High School Basketball - Oak Harbor nips Cardinal Stritch
January 9, 2024: Oak Harbor, OH 43449 Oak Harbor Rockets (Oak Harbor, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cardinal Stritch Cardinals (Oregon, OH), 51-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oak Harbor upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Rockets travel to Maumee (Maumee, OH) to play the Panthers in a Northern Buckeye bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Maumee lost 59-40 in their recent non-league bout against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Ottawa Hills Green Bears (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo Area bout, on Saturday, January 13. Cardinal Stritch will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Green Bears go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 61-46 league loss to Emmanuel Christian (Toledo, OH).
