January 9, 2024: Darien, CT 06820 The Darien Blue Wave basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Westhill Vikings to 51 in the Blue Wave league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Wave now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilton for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, January 12. Darien will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 55-53 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-3.
Next up, the Vikings play the Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Westhill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 77-36 non-league loss to Fitch (Groton, CT).
