January 9, 2024: Westlake, LA 70669 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Westlake Rams (Westlake, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA), by a count of 58-49.
The Rams (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights go into the 3A District 3 outing with a 11-9 record. In their last outing, South Beauregard was topped by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 62-46, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Pleasant Hill for a C District 3 outing on Friday, January 12. Hornbeck will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 71-45 league win over Simpson (Simpson, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-12.
