Texas High School Basketball - Lake Worth ripped by Sanger
January 9, 2024: Lake Worth, TX 76135 The Sanger Indians basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Lake Worth Bullfrogs to 43 in the Indians non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hirschi for a 4A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 12. Sanger will meet a Huskies team coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 7-10.
The Bullfrogs (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulls enter the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 10-14 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport triumphed over Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX), 61-60, in a non-league contest.
