January 9, 2024: Paint Rock, TX 76866 The Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX) basketball crushed the host Paint Rock Indians (Paint Rock, TX), 67-6 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Steers (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Longhorns go into the 1A Region II District 11 test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Bronte was trounced by Eula (Clyde, TX), 65-22, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Anna for a 1A Region II District 12 test on Friday, January 12.
