Ohio High School Basketball - Whitmer crushes Western International
January 9, 2024: Toledo, OH 43613 Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Western International Cowboys (Detroit, MI), 61-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Whitmer upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Panthers host Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH) to play the Generals in a Northern Lakes bout on Friday, January 12. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Anthony Wayne won 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH)
Next up, the Cowboys play the King Crusaders (Detroit, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Western International will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 60-55 non-league win over Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI).
