Louisiana High School Basketball - Acadiana trounces Broadmoor
January 9, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70506 The Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Broadmoor Buccaneers (Baton Rouge, LA), 55-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers go into the 5A District 3 test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Barbe walloped Sulphur (Sulphur, LA), 44-38, in a league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 1-15 record. They play next when they host West Feliciana for a 4A District 6 test on Friday, January 12. Broadmoor will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 68-27 non-league loss to Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Saints record now stands at 5-10.
