January 9, 2024: Las Cruces, NM 88011 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), saw Centennial's basketball squad overcome Deming by a tally of 53-35.
With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Hawks host Silver (Silver City, NM) to confront the Fighting Colts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Fighting Colts come into the challenge with a record of 7-5.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Deming will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 66-33 non-league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).
