January 9, 2024: Elkton, OR 97436 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) and the host Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR), saw Umpqua Valley Christian's basketball squad wallop Elkton by a tally of 69-19.
With the victory, Umpqua Valley Christian improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR) to confront the Bobcats in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, January 12. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Myrtle Point won 60-35 in their recent league challenge against Pacific (Port Orford, OR)
Next up, the Elks confront the Days Creek Wolves (Days Creek, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, January 12. Elkton will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
