Indiana High School Basketball - North Newton can't hold off Frontier

The Frontier Falcons basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting North Newton Spartans to 29 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culver Community for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Frontier will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 69-29 league loss to Caston (Fulton, IN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-11.

The Spartans (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN). The Bombers come into the non-league contest with a 18-0 record. In their last contest, Rensselaer Central edged West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN), 68-60, in a league contest.
