In Tuesday's league outing, the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) basketball squad edged the host Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN), by a count of 52-47.

The Titans (17-2) will now prepare for their outing against Richmond (Richmond, IN). The Red Devils go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Richmond held off Connersville (Connersville, IN), 60-44, in a non-league outing.

The Knights now hold a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Knightstown for a Tri-Eastern outing on Friday, January 12. Northeastern will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 49-19 non-league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 6-11.
