California High School Basketball - Vaughn overwhelms Triumph Charter
January 9, 2024: Sylmar, CA 91342 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Vaughn White Tigers (San Fernando, CA) and the host Triumph Charter Jaguars (Sylmar, CA), saw Vaughn's basketball squad wallop Triumph Charter by a tally of 54-32.
With the victory, Vaughn improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The White Tigers host Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA) to confront the Vipers in a Valley challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Vipers come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences won 52-12 in their recent league challenge against Fulton (Van Nuys, CA)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Community Charter Titans (Lakeview Terrace, CA) in a North Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Triumph Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 24-9 non-league loss to CALS Early College (Los Angeles, CA).
