January 9, 2024: Vashon Island, WA 98070 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA) and the visiting Chimacum Cowboys (Chimacum, WA), saw Vashon Island's basketball squad overcome Chimacum by a tally of 28-18.
With the victory, Vashon Island improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Seattle Christian lost 42-18 in their recent league challenge against Klahowya (Silverdale, WA)
Next up, the Cowboys confront the Annie Wright Gators (Tacoma, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Chimacum will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
