With the victory, Canyon moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Cougars host Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Coyotes enter the bout with a record of 3-0. Wichita Falls won 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Estacado (Lubbock, TX)
