Arizona High School Basketball - Casteel holds off Desert Mountain
January 9, 2024: Scottsdale, AZ 85259 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) and the host Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Casteel's basketball squad hold off Desert Mountain by a tally of 48-41.
With the victory, Casteel improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ) to confront the Black Hawks in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Black Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Wolves confront the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) in a challenge, on Monday, January 22. Desert Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
