Illinois High School Basketball - Catalyst-Maria tops Hancock
January 9, 2024: Chicago, IL 60629 Catalyst-Maria Wolves (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL), 43-27 in a league bout.
With the victory, Catalyst-Maria upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host King (Chicago, IL) to play the Jaguars in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 2-1. King won 46-34 in their recent league bout against Kennedy (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Eagles play the Ellison Lions (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 50-19 non-league win over Juarez (Chicago, IL).
