Iowa High School Basketball - Don Bosco toppled by Cascade
January 9, 2025: Cascade, IA 52033 Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 59-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Cascade advances its record to 8-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-0. Decorah-North Winneshiek won 89-64 in their recent non-league match against Hudson (Hudson, IA)
The Dons now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunkerton for a Iowa Star match on Saturday, January 11. Don Bosco will face a Raiders squad coming off a 60-50 non-league loss to Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
