The Crane Medical Cougars basketball squad (Chicago, IL), was nudged 59-55 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Dyett Eagles (Chicago, IL)

With the victory, Dyett advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to meet the Meteors in a non-league battle on Sunday, January 12. The Meteors enter the battle with a record of 7-6. Thornton Fractional North won 70-62 in their recent league battle against Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL)

The Cougars now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Village for a non-league battle on Friday, January 10. Crane Medical will meet a Phoenix squad coming off a 71-13 league win over Spry Community Links (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 15-3.
